"Après 'push" - Glove-making party, 4th April 1998

Saturday 4th April 1998 - Glove-making party at Sara's
Ed, Peter, Martin and Eryl gathered at Sara's last weekend for a highly enjoyable glove-making party. We managed to make only one glove each in about eight hours, but much beer was drunk, and much Quake and Doom were played, so a good time was had by all.

What a messy eater!
With both hands covered in latex, Eryl had to rely on the kindness of others for sustenance . . . *what* a messy eater!

Nearly there now!
Nearly there now!

Peter about to get fragged again!
All gloves done, and Peter's about to get fragged AGAIN!

Anyway, we may have been slow in making the gloves, but they came out very well. We all used our new gloves the next day at the UK Barbarians South Africa introduction day, and we all said how well they worked. A repeat session had been provisionally scheduled for the 9th May, but we're now trekking up to the Orkney Isles for a 5-on-5 up there. Watch the news page for further details.
