It must have been nearly two years since the last glove-making party, and we'd gained a number of new members in the meantime, so we decided it would be a responsible thing to give the newer players a chance to make their own custom gloves. The fact that glove-making parties are really just a poor excuse for swilling loads of tinnies had nothing whatsoever to do with it!
