Martin: "Three hours, pah. An hour and three quarters for Rob, Mark and me! Urrrghhhh . . .  The only compensation for having to get up at stupid o'clock to catch a 07:35 flight is of not having to get up at an hour and a quarter before stupid o'clock to catch the 06:20 that Karen and Dave were on. It still felt really early though, and being the third year I've done it in no way dulls the "urrrghhhh". At least I now know not to do it with half a bottle of whisky inside me. Karen & Dave: "The book-in and return flight was uneventful, probably because neither of us woke up until we were at the bar at Gatwick! (Small lager, small cider, the holiday's not over until you get home...). After arriving home around lunchtime Karen volunteered to sleep on behalf of both of them as Dave headed off for work."
