Julie: "We stayed at Sara's the night before, so it was a slightly less stressed than usual Martin (Fisher) this morning. Less stressed, that is, until we got on the plane and heard that the first twenty minutes were going to be a bit bumpy.

We checked into the Hotel Aster, just outside the centre of Bologna, and then headed into town for a meal, but not before spending a good twenty minutes trying to work out the bus ticket system. Still no joy! (It's all in the Tour Handbook, gang... :-) )

Stopped at a pub: Martin ate big olives and wouldn't shut up about the size. Wine and no money later we staggered back to the hotel."
